The IBM Aptiva was IBM’s home PC line from 1994 to 2001, the successor of the PS/1. It was aimed at families: multimedia, CD-ROM, sound card and preinstalled software, sold in regular shops rather than through IBM’s business channels.
This tower is a late-1990s model in the beige case with the blue IBM badge. It now runs Windows 2000 Professional and is used for classic late-90s games like Ignition at retro gaming events.
