The Macintosh SE (System Expansion) was released by Apple in March 1987, alongside the Macintosh II. It kept the compact all-in-one design of the original Macintosh with its 9-inch monochrome screen, but added an internal expansion slot, room for an internal hard disk or a second floppy drive, a cooling fan and the new Apple Desktop Bus (ADB) keyboard and mouse.
It ran on a Motorola 68000 at 8 MHz with 1 MB of RAM as standard, expandable to 4 MB.
This one arrived in November 2016. The photos show it as it came, and the inside: the logic board, the RAM and the Sony floppy drive.
